Do You Grind Your Teeth? [quiz]

TMJ Treatment 2 at Douglas A. Callow, DDS Office in Plymouth, MI

Teeth grinding can be a serious issue. In addition to causing dental damage like worn-down teeth or even loose or broken teeth, it has been linked to other health problems such as chronic headaches and TMJ disorders.

We look for signs of teeth grinding (also called bruxism) during your regular dental exams in our Plymouth, MI dentist office. And we’ll ask you about symptoms and potential causes. To treat teeth grinding, we can create a custom mouthguard that you wear while you sleep. The mouthguard prevents you from grinding your teeth and relieves pressure on your jaw.

In the meantime, you can take this quiz. If it indicates you may grind your teeth, call us ASAP for an appointment at 734-404-7336.
